Rates rise, mortgage applications fall: MBA (Market Watch)

Applications for mortgages decrease a seasonally adjusted 10.6% last week compared to a week earlier, while interest rates on fixed- and adjustable-rate mortgages rise, Mortgage Bankers Association data show.
